Directions
METHOD 1: Leave-in
1. After your conditioning routine, apply Curl Cream to palms and distribute evenly through hair using your preferred techniques, such as raking or praying hands.
2. For more accentuated curls gently scrunch hair to encourage stronger curls.
3. Leave in and let hair dry with your preferred techniques, such as plopping, diffusing or air dry, OR for stronger curl definition and hold apply Clever Curl Curl Gel before allowing the hair to dry.
METHOD 2: Refresh
1. Add 1-2 pumps of product to a water spray bottle and shake well to emulsify the mixture. Add more if required.
2. Spray the mixture to desired parts of the hair to combat frizz, using praying hands technique to distribute.
3. Diffuse or air dry.
TIP: Add one pump of Curl Cream to a water spray bottle for a fuss-free and effective refresh spray.

I have been using the Curl Cream after every hair wash for about 2 years now, I leave it in my wet hair before using a curl gel. My hair is in the best condition, it is soft, hydrated and easy to style, my hairdresser always comments each time she cuts my hair what good condition my hair is in. The curl cream was recommended to me by oz hair and beauty. Silly me bought the biggest bottle as I believed it was going to be the best thing ever. Unfortunately I have given it so many tries over the last few months and nothing has changed, it still leaves my hair sticky and gross also frizzy. Have been a dedicated group of clever curly products since I revisited my youth, and the fabulous 80’s, and started getting my hair permed again. For around 5 years or so, there’s been two main products in particular I can’t do without and Curl Cream is one of them. It lives up to it’s description and adds awesome definition and bounce without any tacky hold. For between times, I add a couple of squirts to a spray bottle of water. A quick once over, a gentle scrunch and I’m good to go.

After fighting against my hair for nearly 50 years, I came across the CGM book. It inspired my journey back to natural hair and, after trying so many products with varying degrees of success, I eventually came across Australian and cruelty free Clever Curl. This cream is wonderful! I have lots of hair, but it gets easily weighed down by heavy products. This curl cream nourishes my hair, adds moisture and prevents split ends (as long as I don’t use heat tools). It also emphasises my curls. I use it after washing my hair when it’s still wet, and I also use a little bit each morning or night on dry hair.
Also – this haircare range smells DIVINE. OMG I am obsessed with the smell! Nice and fragrant without being superficial.

This leave in curl cream is the perfect foil for your curls, as curly hair can be known to be on the dry side of life, as I have fine but very thick hair and this curl cream doesn’t weigh my curls down and doesn’t stretch my curls out, and since using the curl cream my curls have never been in such gorgeous condition, also I’ve used it as a refresher by adding water to a spray bottle and then adding a few pumps of curl cream into the bottle shake and then when you’re ready to do your morning routine give the bottle another good shake and spray and your curls will be transformed into freshly washed curls look with out any effort, curl cream is a universal product that has got two different way’s that brings out the best of your curls that are so hydrated and glossy, I’m just so impressed with Ethical Co Curl cream and I strongly suggest in buying the 1 Lt pump bottle as it is very economical and gives you enough notice when you’re running low so that you can purchase more

I had previously given up on any leave-ins/cream products as they’d interrupt the hold of my curls, causing my curls to frizz quicker. This product is genuinely the only curl cream I can rely on to nourish my curls while adding definition and NEVER leaving residue or weighing my hair down.
I’m obsessed with volume and I find that most curl creams (which are typically loaded with filler ingredients, like oils/butters/silicones), always leave my hair with a tacky residue feeling, weighing them down eventually.
This cream gives my hair so much hydration and nourishment, without ever disrupting the hold of my curls throughout the week.
It’s also amazing for refreshing hair mid-week, especially in the drier weather!!!
